When will government give chaplains work or what to do
for a living?
It is not the duty of government to give chaplains
what to do. The responsibility of government is to provide enabling
environments for all citizens to get something done for livelihood. Chaplains
must on their own think of profitable things to do in life.

When will government recognize chaplaincy?
Chaplaincy is already recognized by government, there
are chaplains in:
a.
The Nigeria Army.
b.
Nigeria Navy.
c.
Nigeria Air
Force.
d.
Nigeria Police
Force.
e.
Nigeria Security
and Civil Defence Corps etc.
Any chaplain who wants government jobs are free to
apply for recruitment. Interested chaplains should please be on the lookout for
their adverts.

The question I think chaplains in Nigeria should be
asking is “When will chaplains in Nigeria be able to go into private chaplaincy
practice?
The answer is “When chaplains in Nigeria have been
professionally prepared to work as professionals.”
