Am a Professional
Chaplain
I am a chaplain, a professional chaplain for that matter, who
is able to stand before all and sundry in the discharge of my professional
duties. I have an understanding that I have a calling to help transform lives,
and give them meaning in life.
Understanding chaplaincy to be a service oriented profession,
I stand to serve Almighty God through serving humanity. I am well positioned and informed to enable
me make an intentional intervention into people’s lives and situations, with
the intention of bringing about attitudinal and behavioural changes in
them.
I have an understanding that my professional practice and the

that will transform them for better.
I am also well positioned and equipped to provide
multi-faith, multi-dimensional, multi-directional and inter-faith services to
the people of our world and age.
Our calling and election as chaplains, places a burden upon
us to always look for a way of alleviating the sufferings of the people,
helping to reduce such sufferings to the minimum acceptable level of normalcy.
Our understanding of the fact that there is no problem free
society anywhere in the world, there is no problem free person as well, should

of humanity to the admiration of the people we are called to serve.
