Necessity is placed on us professional chaplains in
Nigeria and the continent of Africa, no matter how few we are, to nurture, grow
and develop new crops of chaplains who will take responsibility for taking

delivery in every life situation and are adequately trained to offer such
services.

able to marry their God-given potentials with innovations and creativity to
better the lots of the people they are called to serve.

Chaplains who are
prepared to care for the total man, nursing him to wholesomeness; providing
wholistic services to humanity.
8.
Chaplains who are
prepared to bring the needed reformation to peoples’ life in any given
situation.
9.
Chaplains who
will be prepared to douse all forms of tensions and crisis, thus preventing
depression, suicidal thought and actions in people.
10.
Chaplains who
will be prepared to ensure peaceful-coexistence amongst people of different
tribes, ethnic groups, cultures and religions, thereby making peace to reign in
the society.

Chaplains who
will be able to contribute their own quota to the socio-economic political
development of our nation.
