Beloved professional chaplaincy has had beauties; and chaplaincy beauty is beyond uniform, matching and parading by chaplains.

Permit me at this juncture to enumerate some of these beauties here so as to enable us maintain focus in beautifying chaplaincy profession from our own end and part as professional chaplains:

2.     Provision of succor and wholistic healing for the traumatized, victimized and the hurting.

3.     Bringing purpose and meaning to people’s lives.

4.     Giving voice to the voiceless.

5.     Rekindling hope to people in their hopelessness.

6.     Calling for equitable justice for the abused and victimized and for their defense.

7.     High quality chaplaincy education and professional chaplaincy education.

8.     Provision of interfaith chaplaincy services and education for the practitioners.

9.     Prevention of suicide and suicidal thoughts as well as provision of bereavement counseling for families of suicidal victims.

10.                        Rehabilitation of addicts, trafficked individuals as well as assisting them to bounce back to normalcy to live and thrive.
