Restructuring and Re-engineering

Restructuring and Re-engineering
Political parties in Nigeria today is going through some forms of restructuring and re-engineering. We are all witnesses of what is happening in our nation today;
a.     Regrouping of political allies.
b.     Coming together of parties to present a stronger and effective body.
Chaplaincy as a profession and practice is also going through some forms of re-engineering, re-structuring, re-positioning, re-presentation, re-definition and re-focusing. For example:
There is a bill in the National Assemblies to commercialize sports and sporting activities to generate money for social welfare of the people in society or for funding social welfare activities of the nation. This is political re-engineering that we are witnessing.
In chaplaincy too, Prodam-J Chaplaincy Concept and Association of Professional Chaplains in Nigeria, under the able leadership of Chap. Prof. Mike-David is championing “Chaplaincy in For-profit Setting Perspectives and Introducing sport chaplaincy” that professional chaplains can offer profitable and beneficial services to the sporting industry.
As the government of our nation is expected to make money from the sporting industry; chaplains should also prepare to tap into this opportunity as functional sport chaplains
