INTERNATIONAL WORRY AND CONCERN

It is becoming an international worry and concern that:-
People who know little or nothing about chaplaincy, people who have little or no chaplaincy education and people who have no professional chaplaincy training are beginning to style themselves as chaplains.
The ideal thing before one can go by the name chaplain or be called as a chaplain is for one to acquire the needed followings:-
a. Sound chaplaincy education.
b. Sound professional chaplaincy training at least 2 units of CPE or CCPE in the Continent of Africa.
c. Have supervised chaplaincy practice or practicum.
d. Obtain professional certification to practice chaplaincy publicly in any setting.
