Carers and Handlers

In the dog section of the Nigerian Police Force, there are trained dog handlers and carers. They are professional dog handlers and carers, who never toy with the lives of the dogs they are called to serve and care for.

In the mounted troupes of the same Nigeria Police Force; there are handlers, carers and riders. These trained horse handlers, carers and riders are professionally trained and they do not toy with the lives of such horses they are called to serve and handle.

Likewise, chaplains are opportuned to be carers and handlers of human lives. These chaplains have to be professionally trained to enable them care adequately for all mankind.

Professional chaplains must be able to take responsibility for adequate care and handling of people’s life in the following ways:-

a.     Professional chaplains must provide the needed care for human lives, as professional carers and handlers.

b.     Professional chaplains are expected to take responsibility for handling life issues professionally.

c.      Professional chaplains are expected to be managers of lives and people; and must not be find toying with people’s God-given lives.

Chaplains who have a mandate and duty to people of our age, rise up now to your responsibilities.

Addressing Problems:

1.     Problems of any kind, form or magnitude must be addressed rightly for enduring, sustainable and permanent solutions where necessary.

2.     In addressing problems; those who take responsibility for addressing problems must do so objectively, without any sentiment or bias.

3.     In addressing problems, people who take responsibility for such must employ the right approach known and called solution based approach.

4.     In addressing problems, those called with such responsibility must of necessity employ skills and tacts; to enable them proffer the needed solutions to problems.

5.     Problem-solvers, must not only make themselves ready to address problems as they arise; but must also be trained and equipped to enable them offer such services professionally.
