Professional
Chaplaincy Education Training
Permit me to detail the intricacies and scopes of
professional chaplaincy education and training here for the benefit of all and
sundry.
1.
This is a
well-structured professional chaplaincy training to meet global standard.
2.
This is done
through CCPE study programme, taking candidates through studies unit by unit.
3.
Candidates after
the completion of each unit of study and examinations will be eligible to seek
certification from APCIN the professional chaplaincy body in Nigeria and
continent of Africa by extension.
4.
As candidates are
undergoing the CCPE study programme, it is also mandatory for them to get their
professional practice started under qualified professional supervisors as a
certain number of accumulative hours is required in practice for certification.
5.
Certification is
usually earned not a gift or honourary award. work hard therefore to earn
professional certification to practice chaplaincy professionally in Africa and
world over.
Wondering! Are you wondering how, when and where to start the
clinical professional practice; I wish to make it categorically clear to all
that we of Prodam-j chaplaincy institute will take you all through your course
of studies and at the same time guide you through supervised clinical
chaplaincy practice. This is what makes us unique and different from others.
To enable you get started, we recommend that each
candidate identifies a particular needs in his/her community, calling for
attention and for which he/she has the
ability to meet with; notify us in Prodam-j and the necessary guide will be
given for the candidate to commence the supervised clinical practice as the
studies and training are going on.
Delay is surely dangerous, without evidence of
chaplaincy practice over a period of time; certification becomes a mirage.
Let us work now, when the day is bright, for to work
in darkness is never palatable. Fire brigade approach is detrimental to
sustainable development. God bless you all
