A COUNSELOR? YES, I AM

Yes, I am a counselor: a professional counselor, a pastoral counselor.

A multi-faith counselor, a multi-dimensional counselor, a multi-directional counselor:

Trained and equipped to provide counseling services to all people irrespective of their religious leanings and beliefs; for as long as they are human who have and are in need of:

i.                    Spiritual needs.

ii.                  Emotional needs.

iii.                Psychological needs.

Seeking intentional friendship and intervention in problem-solving and solutions to life problems.

This is to let you know severally and corporately that there are people who are ready, prepared skillfully to attend to your problems.

To be precise, there are professionals and Chaplains who care and are ready to share with you:

i.                    Life threatening issues.

ii.                  Life devastating experiences.

iii.                Humiliating issues of life.

iv.               Marginalization in life.

v.                 Deprivation of any kind.

vi.               Traumatization and victimization etc.

With the aims of working together with you in assist in you in the following:

i.        Developing the needed coping capacity and skills needed to overcome your situation, challenges and problem.

ii.      Endeavouring to rekindle hope in you in hopeless situations and circumstances.

iii.    Seeking to reduce your hurting and pains to make sure you are healed of internal and emotional injuries.

iv.   Helping to give you meaningful and purposeful life.

v.     Helping to restore you to stability and equilibrium as you are assisted o gain resilience after trauma, whether psychological resilience, emotional resilience, spiritual resilience and physical resilience.

Because of the traumatic and harrowing experiences you must have been subjected to without minding whether or not you are religious, belonging to or not to a faith group etc.

Only that you remain human with problems to solve or needing a solution to a problem.
